  9. 1 Tsp Cumin Powder
  10. 1/2 Tsp Garam Masala Powder
  11. 1/2 Tsp Cumin seeds
  12. 1/2 Tsp Mustard Seeds
  13. 3 Tbsp Oil
  14. As per taste Salt

Instructions to make to make Beetroot ki sabzi/Chukandar ki Sabzi

  1. In a Pressure Cooker add Beetroot, lemon juice and 1/4Cup Water
  2. Pressure Cook it on High Flame till 1 Whistle
  3. Turn off the flame,let all the pressure release, then open the lid of cooker
  4. Remove Beetroot in bowl
  5. Add Oil in a Kadai, when oil is hot,add Cumin seeds and Mustard Seeds,let them crackle on High Flame
  6. Add Curry leaves and green chillies,cook for few seconds,then add Onion
  7. Cook Onion on High Flame till it turns translucent
  8. In a bowl mix Dry spices with Water, Add Spices and cook by adding little little water 2-3mins
  9. Add Beetroot and green peas cook for further 2-3mins
  10. Add Coconut Milk and Salt to taste,Cover and cook it for 10mins on Medium Low Flame
  11. Open the lid,add Chopped Coriander Leaves and cook for further 5mins,let the Oil separate.Remove it in Serving Dish.Serve it with Rice or Chapati
